The New Possible - The Infrastructure Behind Scalable Quantum Computing

This talk presents a system-level perspective on the infrastructure required to operate and scale hybrid quantum–classical platforms. We discuss how low-latency control electronics, programmable pulse processing, and open software interfaces enable calibration, mid-circuit measurement, conditional operations, and adaptive execution. A layered architecture organizes classical resources across different latency regimes, supporting integration with CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and external decoders. These developments point toward scalable quantum data-center architectures in which control, computation, networking, and software are co-designed to support future fault-tolerant and application-oriented quantum computing systems.
