Dr. Britta Schafsteller

Dr. Britta Schafsteller is Global Product Manager for Semiconductor at MKS Materials Solutions Division, based in Berlin. Since joining Atotech/MKS in 2004, she led the Selective Finishing R&D team for over a decade before moving into global product management—first in Selective Finishing, and since 2024 in Semiconductor. Britta holds a PhD in Natural Sciences from Ruhr University Bochum and completed postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute in Duesseldorf. Her expertise includes electroless metal deposition for PCBs, IC substrates, and semiconductor applications, with a focus on surface finish and interface properties.
