Kung-Yen Lee is the Founder & Director of SiCEV Electronics Co., Ltd. and a Professor in the Department of Engineering Science and Ocean Engineering and Graduate School of Advanced Technology at National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. With over two decades of experience in high-power devices, power electronics, and renewable energy, he bridges cutting-edge research with real-world industry applications.

He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, USA. His academic work focuses on next-generation power semiconductor devices, system integration, and energy-efficient designs, and has earned broad recognition in both research and industrial communities.

At SiCEV, he leverages his technical expertise and leadership to drive product innovation and strategic growth, including the development of novel SiC device structures with planned patents—aimed at reducing power consumption and enhancing reliability for applications spanning AI computing, electric vehicles, renewable energy, and defense.
