Robert Graham

CEO, Kelvin Quantum

Robert is the co-founder and CEO of Kelvin Quantum, a Glasgow-based company enabling scalable quantum computing through semiconductor systems engineered for ultra-low-temperature operation.

Robert earned his master's degree in Physics from Queen's University Belfast before completing a PhD in Quantum Sensing at the University of Glasgow. He then continued at Glasgow as a researcher in superconducting quantum computing, where his work focused on advanced readout of quantum systems using semiconductor technologies spanning both cryogenic CMOS and optical approaches.

Recognising that readout and control electronics represent one of the central bottlenecks to scaling quantum computers beyond today's machines, Robert and his co-founders spun out Kelvin Quantum from this research in 2025. The company develops cryogenic CMOS control and readout solutions designed to bridge the gap between quantum processors and the semiconductor supply chain.
