Hsiang-Yi Chang is the Managing Director of Crossing, a premier new media platform under CommonWealth Magazine, and serves as a Senior Writer for the CommonWealth editorial department.

In June 2015, with corporate backing, he founded Crossing, an innovative platform that has since mobilized a global network of over 200 next-generation columnists across more than 80 cities. Under his leadership, the platform provides critical insights into global workplace dynamics, international education trends, and evolving youth career development.

As an accomplished journalist, Mr. Chang specializes in finance, macroeconomics, and cross-border reporting. He has driven high-impact, award-winning feature stories, including the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) Awards, the 35th Golden Tripod Awards, the Excellent Journalism Awards, and the Modern Financial Reporting Awards.

Beyond print and digital journalism, Mr. Chang has successfully expanded into multimedia storytelling. He served as the executive producer for Taiwanese: No Fear, a documentary series co-produced by Crossing and Taiwan's Public Television Service (PTS). The series achieved critical acclaim and was nominated for Best Documentary at the 52nd Golden Bell Awards.
