Building Quantum - GPU Supercomputing

The next generation of quantum systems will be quantum-GPU supercomputers that tightly integrate quantum processors with AI supercomputing infrastructure to achieve fault tolerance and run useful applications. Building these systems at scale will require advancements across algorithms, software, and hardware. AI and accelerated computing are also essential to this journey, from discovering efficient quantum applications and calibrating processors to enabling real-time control and quantum error correction. This talk will present NVIDIA’s vision for this convergence and highlight recent developments in CUDA-Q, NVQLink, and open models to create a unified platform where academia, labs, startups, and industry can collaborate to shape the future of supercomputing.

Sr. Quantum Solutions Architect, NVIDIA

Yun-Yuan (Pika) Wang is a Senior Quantum Solutions Architect at the NVIDIA AI Technology Center (NVAITC), where he leads R&D collaborations with academic partners in the emerging field of quantum computing. His work focuses on advancing GPU-accelerated quantum platforms, bridging high-performance computing (HPC), quantum-classical hybrid algorithms, and real-world applications in physics, optimization, and AI. As a young researcher, he has contributed to 10+ peer-reviewed publications, including in IEEE journals and conferences, and is an inventor on 12 U.S. patents, covering quantum simulation on HPC systems, quantum-inspired computing architectures, and novel quantum computing applications.
