Alvin Hsieh

Alvin joined Entegris in 2015 as the vice president of sales and country president of Taiwan. In this role he is responsible for the general management of Entegris performance in Taiwan, which includes sales revenue for all divisions, customer strategy, and general organization and daily operation.

Prior to joining Entegris, Alvin served as the country manager for China at ASML where he led efforts to provide lithography process support to local customers from process development through high volume manufacture.

Before joining ASML, Alvin worked at ATMI as the Taiwan country manager where he made significant contributions to their microelectronics business.

In his nearly 20 years in the semiconductor industry, Alvin has held various roles in purchasing, supplier management and global sales. His experience has proven valuable in managing relationships and growing business in Taiwan.

Alvin holds a master's degree in chemistry from National Taiwan University and an EMBA degree from National Taiwan University as well. He also serves as an IC committee member since 2010, and vice chairman for the Strategic Materials committee since 2021 for SEMI Taiwan.
