Theme: Enabling the Future of Semiconductors: The Power of Graphene Interconnects
Abstract of Presentation
Copper interconnect has reached its physical limitation. To continue scaling beyond the 2nm node at a reasonable cost, major breakthroughs in interconnects are necessary.
2D Generation has developed a patented solution utilizing an ALD system, enabling graphene coating at temperatures below 350°C. The technology can be applied using existing industrial processes and equipment.
This technology opens the door to the next generation of semiconductors capable of further miniaturization, lower power consumption, less heat generation, and greater computational power.
