Beyond Capital: Building the Commercialization Ecosystem for Semiconductor Deep Tech

Abstract:
The AI era is creating unprecedented opportunities for semiconductor Deep Tech, but commercialization remains one of the industry’s greatest challenges. This presentation explores how startups, VCs, and CVCs can work together to reduce commercialization risk through ecosystem-driven collaboration. Drawing on examples such as the Lam-Hana Fund, the Lam Capital Venture Competition, and regional partnerships across Asia, Lam Capital shares its approach to building “commercialization syndicates” that combine capital, technical validation, customer access, and strategic partnerships. The session highlights why the future of semiconductor innovation depends not only on breakthrough technologies, but on the ecosystems that bring those technologies to market.
