Dr. Yuan-Ping(YP) Huang, Principal, Applied Ventures

Yuan-Ping (YP) Huang is a Managing Director at AVITIC Innovation Fund and a Principal at Applied Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Applied Materials. He leads investments in semiconductor, cybersecurity, power electronics, and life sciences. Previously, YP was an early member of Lam Capital, the corporate venture arm of Lam Research. He also worked as an associate at McKinsey & Company.

YP holds a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from Columbia University as well as an M.S. degree in molecular medicine and a B.S. degree in zoology from National Taiwan University.
